Senior Poker Club

“My name is Michael Sullivan. I’m from the Queens Center. You had one of your representatives out here on Tuesday, his name is Carl. I just wanted to tell you he did an excellent job and got me very interested in poker.  I was never that interested in poker until I played it with him.  I am hoping you make arrangements for him to come out again. We had about fifteen people who attended. Thank you very much.”

"Hi Everybody,

I am writing this to let you know that this is our 2^nd year with the Senior Poker Club.  If you have not tried this Activity out you don’t know what you are missing.  Our Residents LOVE IT so much they are willing to give up an entertainer to have poker night.

They send a Professional Dealer and they set up everything, it is just short of a casino experience. I would recommend this to any facility.  The Price is right and because of the FUN our residents have we are now having them Twice a Month.

I cannot say enough about the Senior Poker Club!  Give them a try you won’t be disappointed!"

Carl has been teaching and working with our clients at Saint Peter's Adult Day Center in Monroe, NJ for the past year.  He has certainly made a difference in our Activity Program.  All our staff and clients look forward to his monthly visits. 

He has been working with the senior population and is always patient and willing to assist and explain the game.  Our seniors look forward to the monthly Poker tournament, and the excitement of feeling like they are at a casino, even if it's only for a morning.
